Three from same fam­ily died in crash

Three of the peo­ple who died in a crash on the M5 were a fam­ily from Liver­pool, po­lice said.

Richard Henry Evans, 66, known as Harry, his wife Elaine, 62, and her mother Au­drey Hodge, 84, were all killed in the col­li­sion on the mo­tor­way near Bris­tol on Septem­ber 16.

Avon and Som­er­set Po­lice said they were trav­el­ling in a Sub­aru Forester car on the north­bound car­riage­way when a lorry trav­el­ling south­bound went through the cen­tral reser­va­tion and col­lided with at least two cars head­ing in the op­po­site di­rec­tion.

Adrian Beau­mont, 46, from Bris­tol, was the fourth vic­tim of the ac­ci­dent.
