Celtic star verbally abused

Three men were removed from their flight for verbally abusing a Celtic player after yesterday’s Old Firm match.

Scott Sinclair was in the BA lounge at Glasgow Airport last night, waiting to board a flight, when he suffered the abuse.

A spokesman for the airport said: “We are aware of the fact there was an incident in the BA lounge and the police were involved.

“Three individuals were removed from the flight and the airport.”

Police said six people were arrested in and around Ibrox for minor public order offences at the game.
