Police appeal for information after series of vehicle crimes
Police are appealing for witnesses following a series of crimes in the East Neuk last week.
Overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday, three cars were vandalised in Dreelside and High Street East, Anstruther, and someone tried to steal a third from High Street, Pittenweem.
The theft of a mountain bike from Forth Street East, Cellardyke, is also being investigated and inquiries are ongoing to establish if the incidents are linked and if there are any other victims who have not contacted police.
Sergeant Sharon Holmes said: “These sort of offences cannot and will not be tolerated and we are urging members of the public to contact police immediately if they have information.”
