A lovely church

-

“Seeing the recent photograph of Lunan Church brought back memories,” emails Ross Sherret of Glenrothes.

“We were married in the church back in April 1965 by the then minister the Reverend Ian McEwan. He was minister to the parishes of both Lunan and Inverkeilor. We had to go to the manse in Inverkeilor to make all the arrangements. Dorothy, my wife, stayed at Courthill Farm.

“We managed to see inside the church around Christmas time when we were laying a wreath at the Alexander grave and memorial stone.

“The church is now used by Hawkhill Glass which has a workshop up at Hawkhill Farm beside the old main road. It is a lovely church in a quiet area.”
