Ploughing champion handed honour
Ploughing champion Andrew Mitchell Sr from Forfar has been honoured by Angus Council for his contribution to Scottish and world ploughing.
He has won world championship titles and has travelled as far as Canada and New Zealand as well as ploughing in nearly every country in Europe.
He won his first reversible world championship in Australia in 1997 and his son, Andrew Jr, won his first conventional championship in the Republic of Ireland when he was just 16.
