English clubs eyeing Fraser
Three lower league English clubs are taking an interest in Dundee United’s Scott Fraser, it has been reported.
According to reports, Championship side Wigan Athletic are scouting the 21-year-old midfielder, as are League One outfits Charlton Athletic and Peterborough.
Fraser, who has scored three times this season for United as they sit a point off the top of the Scottish Championship table, still has 18 months left on his contract.
A product of the Tannadice youth academy, he broke into the first team two-and-a-half years ago and has been a regular this season for manager Ray McKinnon.
Wigan are currently struggling at the bottom end of their league while Peterborough and Charlton sit fifth and 15th respectively in the division below.
