-

Members of the Rotary Club of Perth St Johns have presented the proceeds from a recent fundraiser to Churches Action for the Homeless (CATH), a local charity which tackles homelessness.

The £1,000 was raised at a ladies afternoon tea organised by the St Johns Rotary Club in the Salutation Hotel, Perth.

Nearly 150 attended the event which included demonstrations on how to make canapés, floral decorations and cocktails. The event also featured a fashion show hosted by Phase Eight.

Gail Mackay, president of the Rotary Club said: “We have to thank all the event sponsors and guests who made it such a fun afternoon.

“The noise levels were amazing and so I guess all the ladies had a great time. We were delighted with the amount of money raised for this important local charity.”
