Russell’s Sammy B completes hat-trick
Lucinda Russell’s Sammy B completed a hat-trick of wins for the year yesterday by taking the Howdens Joinery Handicap Hurdle at Haydock.
The seven-year-old, owned by former St Johnstone chairman Geoff Brown, held on by a neck from Samingarry to add to wins at Musselburgh in February and Kelso earlier this month.
