Car flips in two-vehicle collision on the A9 near Gleneagles
Traffic on the A9 near Auchterarder was brought to a standstill after an accident closed one carriageway of the road yesterday.
The two-vehicle accident happened at around 10.50am on the southbound carriageway close to Gleneagles and the junction with the A823.
One car came to a rest on its roof but the female occupant was able to free herself and suffered only minor injuries. A man also suffered cuts and bruises in the accident.
A police spokesman said the road southbound was closed, but only for a short time, keeping disruption to a minimum.
As well as police officers, an ambulance attended, as did the fire service who helped to make the scene safe.
