Top of crops at Angus Show

The winner of Angus Show’s wheat crop competition was Peter Cargill, Muirhouses.

The runner-up spot went to Ian Milne, of East Pitforthie, Brechin.

John Dowell, North Mains of Cononsyth, Friockheim, took third.

Meanwhile, the winner of the spring barley competition was Ian Milne.

W Mather, Shandford, Brechin, was second.

In third place was A Lawson, Abbeythune, Inverkeilor.
