Clarification

In an article in Tuesday’s Courier headlined “Environmentalists back bid to ban plastic straws” we quoted the MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch Kate Forbes as saying as many as £3 billion worth (of plastic straws) could be thrown away every year in Scotland.

In fact, she said that up to three billion straws could be thrown out every year.
