Road death man named

A man killed after being struck by a car in Fife last week has been named by police.

David Anthony Moore from Cardenden , died in the collision on the A911 Windygates to Glenrothes road on Tuesday March 3.

It is thought the 36-year-old had been walking on the road towards Glenrothes when the accident happened near the Durie Vale roundabout at around 10.35pm.

Mr Moore suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said his family had requested privacy to come to terms with their loss.
