Investment in a Dundee waterfront building will stop because a controversial watersports centre has been approved nearby. The Apex Hotel was due to redevelop the A-listed Custom House but its manager said the plans will be put on hold until the impact of the new centre is determined. The hotel has long objected to the wakeboarding centre, claiming it would detract from views and remove parking provision. Submitted by Dundee City Council, the plan was approved despite the objection.
