• Wednesday May 9 (afternoon) – Annalise Johnstone travels from her home in Ardrossan to Perthshire in a silver Ford Galaxy.

• Wednesday May 9 (10pm) – Annalise is dropped off at Ruthven Court, Auchterard­er. She was in the area to babysit for her brother.

• Thursday May 10 (midday) – Annalise’s body is discovered by a member of the public on the B8062. She is reported missing by her family in Ardrossan after the body is found. • Friday May 11 – Police seize the Ford Galaxy from Green Julian Place in Inchture, where it appears to have been abandoned.

• Saturday May 12 – Forensic teams continue search at a sealed-off house in Auchterard­er, where Annalise was believed to have stayed.

• Monday May 14 – Det Sgt James Smith hosts a press conference and pledges to establish how Annalise died. He asks for the public’s help tracing her mobile phone, wallet and medicine bag. • Thursday May 17 – Annalise’s father Gordon pays tribute to his daughter.

He reveals the car seized belonged to his son’s wife.

• Monday May 21 – Police place a cordon around Maggie Wall’s memorial, outside Dunning, about a mile from where her body was found.

They also visit a hardware shop in Dundee.

• Tuesday May 22 – Police search a layby just outside Inchture.
