The Cricket Paper

Come join us and help support blind cricket

-

IT was good to see two pieces on blind cricket in The Cricket Paper recently.

At The Primary Club (a club and a charity with membership open to anyone who has ever been out first ball in any class of cricket), we support blind cricket in England and Wales with grants handed out to the tune of almost £100,000 every year.

We make grants to all the clubs which take part in the Blind Cricket England & Wales (BCEW) National and Regional leagues as well as BCEW themselves and other bodies.

As Richard Hill, Disability Cricket Operations Administrator for the ECB, remarked to a colleague of mine the other day “If it weren’t for The Primary Club, then there wouldn’t be any blind cricket in England”.

So if anybody would like to help – and I am confident you are all eligible for membership – then join up at www.primaryclub.org
