Black­Rock buoyed by fee rise and ‘ea­ger’ clients

Black­Rock, the world’s largest as­set man­ager, re­ported bet­ter-thanex­pected re­sults yes­ter­day, with to­tal as­sets un­der man­age­ment ris­ing 17pc to al­most $6tril­lion (£4.5tril­lion). The com­pany cited in­creased fees for the jump, and chief ex­ec­u­tive Larry Fink said more clients were ea­ger to put their money to work in the last quar­ter.
