Aer Lin­gus boss to step down after four years

Aer Lin­gus chief ex­ec­u­tive Stephen Ka­vanagh is set to step down in Jan­uary after four years at the air­line. In­ter­na­tional Air­lines Group (IAG), the owner of Aer Lin­gus, said he would be suc­ceeded by Sean Doyle, who is cur­rently direc­tor of net­work at IAG’s Bri­tish Air­ways. Mr Ka­vanagh will re­main as a non-ex­ec­u­tive direc­tor.
