My favourite pep­per (be­low) this tra­di­tional Span­ish tapas va­ri­ety is now very pop­u­lar with chefs. This year at Pad­stow Kitchen Gar­den we grew 500 plants. The Rus­sian roulette of pep­pers, most are mild but one in ev­ery 10 or so is hot, some hot­ter than oth­ers!
