CRAVEN CIN­SAULT STEL­LEN­BOSCH 2017

South Africa (12.5%, Berry Bros & Rudd, £21.50)

Cin­sault is com­ing back into fash­ion, ap­pre­ci­ated for its drink­a­bil­ity, its silky tex­ture, flo­ral scent and flavours of cran­berry, red­cur­rant and black tea. This one’s made from the fruit of old bush vines, and has a lovely tex­ture.
