New York st udio Ap­pa­ra­tus’s prod­uct s com­bine mater ia ls in a n in­trigu­ing way: metal lamp­shades with suede bases, tables mar­ry­ing translu­cent resin bases with dense resin tops. The so­phis­ti­cated colour pal­ette – ma­roon, dusty pink, minky grey – is mir­rored by Span­ish de­signer Pa­tri­cia Urquiola’s rugs for Cc-tapis, which were dis­played on walls a nd looked ever y bit a s desi rable a s pa i nted c a nvases.

At t he con­sis­tent ly in­spir ing Di­more Galler y, Br it t Moran a nd Emil­iano Salci showed ret ro-in­spired f ur­ni­ture a nd light ing in a louche, moody sett ing. Scenes f rom 1960s a r t-house f ilm In­fer no played in the back­ground to get visi­tors into the swing of things.
