is this the future of food shopping?

The Daily Telegraph - Telegraph Magazine - - THE CUT -

Food-trends forecaster Dr Morgaine Gaye predicts that in the future, consumers will be buying ‘survival boxes’, similar to ration packs, containing essential food tailored to their genetic make-up. ‘There will be a device like a mobile phone, which knows your genetic profile and your microbiome (microorganisms that inhabit your body),’ she says. ‘You will breathe into the device every day and it will tell you what you’re deficient in and how to get it. You’ll then scan the device around the supermarket and it will beep at all the food containing nutrients that you need that day.’
