The S wi s s de­signer Yves Béhar has taken the op­po­site ap­proach for his new de­sign for Sam­sung. The ul­tra-thin Frame of­fers all the usual func­tions plus an art mode whereby users can flip the screen through more than 100 pieces of art com­mis­sioned by Sam­sung. Work can also be bought from a li­brary cu­rated by the likes of Magnum Pho­tos and Saatchi Art. Bet­ter still, The Frame is avail­able with wal­nut, beige and white bezels, which snap on and off, while trans­par­ent op­ti­cal ca­ble adds to the il­lu­sion. From £2,000, shop.sam­sung.com.
