Canada Goose’s fashionable way to face the cold

The Daily Telegraph - Telegraph Magazine - - THE CUT / STYLE BIBLE -

Designed for explorers and adopted by city slickers, Canada Goose helps outdoorsy types look cool while staying warm. For winter, the brand has dipped its toe into knitwear. Here, we take a closer look.

Hybridge Knit Hoody, £550, canadagoose.com. This ladies‘ style weighs 617g. All the merino wool is traceable back to an individual farm – and sometimes even animal – in Argentina. The Hybridge Knit line combines wool and down with high-performance fabrics. The hoody is TEI (Thermal Experience Index)tested and has been approved to a rating of TEI 1, meaning it is suitable from 5C to -5C. The body of the hoody is 675-fillpower goose down. The higher the fill power of a down product, the more air it can trap to insulate an item.
