The Daily Telegraph - Total Football - - TOTAL FOOTBALL -

Tim Howard, the Everton goalkeeper, has announced he will leave at the end of the season to join Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids. Howard has made 412 appearances over 10 years but the loss of his first-team status in recent months has forced him to quit the Premier League sooner than expected. Howard said: “I spoke to my family, I spoke to Roberto [Martínez] and I spoke to the chairman, Bill Kenwright. We had great discussions and we all felt this was the right move and the right time.”
