Fliers support child-free zones, poll finds

The Daily Telegraph - Travel - - TRAVEL NEWS - Hugh Morris

Travellers overwhelmingly support the idea of child-free zones on aircraft, according to a Telegraph Travel poll.

Some 89 per cent of more than 1,200 respondents said they would back the introduction of areas on aircraft in which children under 12 were not allowed to sit, while 78 per cent said that airlines could run child-free routes.

The poll followed news that the Indian airline IndiGo would ban children from several rows to protect business travellers from disruption.
