Foreign Office alert after Thai king’s death
The death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand this week is likely to cause disruption as the country mourns the world’s longest serving monarch.
The 88 year-old, who was crowned 70 years ago, died on Thursday morning. The country’s Prime Minister announced a year of mourning, adding that entertainment must be “toned down” for a month.
