Château weekend and Monet’s Garden by rail

Take the Eurostar to Paris and travel on by coach to Giverny, home to Claude Monet until his death in 1926. Its gardens inspired his extraordinary series of water lily paintings. En route, take an optional tour of the Château de Chantilly and its famous collection of Old Masters, virtually untouched since 1898. In addition to the famed lily pond, explore the Japanese-style water garden and the Japanese bridge covered with wisteria, which is depicted in many of Monet’s works.

Just You Travel (0800 1123311; justyou.co.uk) offers this three-night rail and coach tour from £549 per person with no single supplement. Departs various dates from April 28 to September 15 2017.
