Sin­gle cab­ins on cruise ships are thin on the ground and you need to be quick off the block to book them. P&O has a few that are specif­i­cally de­signed for so­los on seven of its eight ships. Of th­ese, the newly re­fur­bished Ar­ca­dia, a mid-size, adult-only ship, has a small num­ber of in­side and bal­cony sin­gle cab­ins on its sun­deck and you need to act now to get one.
