Why did PC World fail to deliver?
I am struggling with PC World about a delivery service where my grandson waited in from 8am until 7:45pm and no delivery came.
A call in the evening after 8pm advised a new time for the following day between 8am and noon.
This has caused great inconvenience for which there has been inadequate compensation. KD, ESSEX PC World has sent you £30 of vouchers in respect of this and another £5 for the non-delivery on the date intended.
PC World said: “We apologise to Mr D that his washing machine was not delivered on the requested date and that he was not provided with an update of the status of the delivery.
“The washing machine was successfully delivered the following day.”
It is puzzling that providers across the board seem unfazed by the inconvenience that missed appointments cause.
Your grandson had taken time off work to be there for you.
Understandably you felt very awkward about the no-show.
