Were my cheques lost in the post?

The Daily Telegraph - Your Money - - READERS’ LETTERS -

Some cheques in US dollars were drawn by Computershare, the registrar, in my favour on behalf of an investment trust I have a holding in.

I sent them by mail to a deposit account in Atlanta but I suspect they never reached the bank. How can I proceed? CC, HERTS

After my involvement some of the cheques were deposited into your foreign bank account.

The remaining four, worth in all $704, though were still elusive. These have now been reissued at a cost of £36.50 by Computershare, who I had been speaking with.

This time you sent them using international tracking and your foreign bank account now shows a credit for the full sum.
