Family pays tribute after death of Frost son
THE FAMILY of Sir David Frost have described their devastation over the sudden death of the late broadcaster’s eldest son.
Miles Frost, 31, collapsed while jogging at the family’s country home in Oxfordshire.
His mother, Lady Carina Fitzalan-Howard, said: “Miles quite simply was born an old soul. And everybody was drawn to his wisdom, love, loyalty and laughter.”
Brothers Wilfred, 29, a TV presenter on CNBC’s World
wide Exchange programme, and George, 28, who runs a drinks company, added: “Miles was the kindest and most generous brother we could have wished for.
“Since Dad died he was the leader of our pack. Everyone who Miles met immediately fell in love with his warmth, selflessness and in- credible sense of humour. He has gone far too soon and is so undeserving of this.”
Friends said there had been no indication of any health problems. Mr Frost was known as a keen athlete, having previously run a half marathon in the Lewa Game Reserve in Kenya.
Mr Frost was a financier and managing partner at Frost Brooks, a Londonbased private equity group.
Sir David died two years ago aged 74 after suffering a heart attack on the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship.
