Formula One earnings accelerate as cheaper pound cuts costs

Formula One profits accelerate­d to $329.9m (£252m) last year as a fall in the pound cut costs. The results could increase its appeal to suitors including billionair­e John Malone, believed to be in pole position to buy the 35pc stake in F1 held by private equity firm CVC.
