Labour ‘planned Scottish U-turn’

Labour had a secret plan to drop its opposition to a second independence referendum, Nicola Sturgeon has claimed.

The First Minister told a televised debate that Kezia Dugdale, the Scottish Labour leader, had said the day after the EU referendum that Brexit “changed everything”.

The Scottish Labour leader vehemently denied the claim.
