Half of new MPS went to comprehensive schools

More than half of this election’s new MPS were educated at comprehensive schools, according to analysis by social mobility think tank the Sutton Trust – 51 per cent, up from 43 per cent in 2015. Just under a fifth were educated at grammar schools.
