Jimmy Carter, the former US president, has received hospital treatment in Canada after collapsing.
Mr Carter, 92, had spent an hour using a saw to cut wood for a staircase at a Habitat for Humanity home in Winnipeg when he collapsed, Canadian broadcaster, CBC reported.
A statement from the Carter centre said: “As a precaution, he was transported to St Boniface General Hospital for rehydration. Mrs. Carter is with him.”
