May has sold out Tory voters who backed Brexit, claims Farage
THE “great Brexit betrayal” has begun, Nigel Farage warns today as he accuses Theresa May of “selling out” people who voted Leave because they wanted to control immigration.
The former Ukip leader says in an article for The Daily Telegraph that Jeremy Corbyn is taking a tougher line on free movement than the Government. “The old alliance of big business and a Tory government is booming again. Meanwhile, Tory supporters, who have voted loyally in successive elections for manifestos that promise to drastically cut numbers, have been sold out,” Mr Farage writes.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump said the UK-US post-brexit trade deal would be “big and exciting” and attacked the “protectionist” EU. In a further economic boost, BMW announced it would build the new fully electric Mini at its plant near Oxford, protecting thousands of jobs.
