Common sense is the best advice

-

According to a new survey, 81per cent of British women are in a constant state of confusion over their health due to conflicting advice: eat this, don’t eat that and, by the way, you’d be better off smothering lard all over your face than spending 90 quid on that anti-ageing cream…

On an unrelated note, scientists have found that drinking alcohol could be good for you. Data suggests that people who like a glass of wine three or four days a week have a reduced risk of developing diabetes. I’ll drink to that.

Finally, I have carried out some highly scientific research (asked around the office during my lunch break) and found that 100per cent of people questioned think it would be a good idea if people stopped taking their lifestyle cues from surveys and used their common sense.
