LSE to deliver strong results

The London Stock Exchange is expected to reveal a strong set of results this week in a boost to Xavier Rolet, its chief executive, after its £21bn merger with Deutsche Boerse was blocked by Brussels over competition concerns. The exchange is expected to unveil an 18pc increase in revenues for the first six months of the year.
