Commit a ‘hate crime’ on new police app
Police have launched an interactive app – in which users end up brutally killing someone – to discourage young people from becoming involved in Right-wing extremism
Cross The Line, which is being rolled out by Bedfordshire Police, is intended to warn people how easy it is to be drawn into committing hate crimes.
The role player can navigate a series of options, where making the wrong choices can see the character commit a racially-motivated murder.
A spokesman for Bedfordshire Police said the aim of the initiative was to highlight how easily people could be influenced by radical behaviour.
