United sunk by classy Real in Super Cup

Manchester United’s hopes of winning silverware before the start of the new Premier League season this weekend were dashed last night when they lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in the Uefa Super Cup in Skopje. Casemiro put Real 1-0 up by half time then Isco made it 2-0 after the break. New signing Romelu Lukaku replied for United, but it was not enough for Jose Mourinho’s side.
