Ruling the waves

HMS Queen Elizabeth, Britain’s flagship aircraft carrier, yesterday met a task group of ships taking part in Exercise Saxon Warrior off Scotland. Clockwise from bottom right, the frigates Westminster and Iron Duke, HNOMS Helge Ingstad, USS Donald Cook, USS Philippine Sea, and aircraft carriers USS George H W Bush and HMS Queen Elizabeth. The latter hosted visitors from the US carrier, including Rear Admiral Kenneth Whitesell and Commodore Andy Betton.
