UK hiring slowed says Pagegroup

Pagegroup, the recruiter that finds jobs for whitecollar workers, has agreed to pay a special dividend of £40m despite UK figures sliding this year. Growth in most of its international markets and operational improvements helped drive a 21.4pc rise in first-half pre-tax profits, as profits in its UK business slid 2.3pc on Brexit uncertainty.
