Stag party jailed and face cane for sex assault

Three young British men were yesterday jailed for between five and a half years and six and a half years for a sexual assault on a Malaysian woman while on a stag trip in Singapore last September.

Khong Tam Thanh, 22, Le Michael and Vu Thai Son, both 24, and all of Vietnamese origin, were accused of rape but later admitted a lesser charge of aggravated outrage of modesty.

They will also each receive between five and eight strokes of the cane.
