Wood on track for AFW tie-up

Wood Group’s £2.2bn takeover of Amec Foster Wheeler could be approved by regulators within a couple of months. The CMA said that it believed the offer to sell AFW’S North Sea assets could be enough to allay concerns and it would now hold a public consultation before its final decision in October.
