Third woman accuses Polanski of sex abuse

A woman has accused Roman Polanski of sexually assaulting her 44 years ago, when she was 16, making it the third case of its kind against the filmmaker.

He is alleged by the woman, known only as Robin, to have molested her in 1973 but she cannot sue him as the statute of limitations has passed.

Polanski, 83, exiled himself from the US after admitting raping Samantha Geimer, 13, in 1977. In 2010, Charlotte Lewis, a British actress, accused him of abusing her when she was 16.
