Two held over mother’s suspected murder

Police are investigating the suspected murder of a mother of two who had given birth to a baby girl five months ago.

Two men have been arrested after the death of the 23-year-old, named locally as Jessica King. The woman’s body was found in a property in Halifax, West Yorks, on Sunday. Two men, aged 27 and 26, were arrested in Leeds on suspicion of murder.

The woman was described by neighbours as a “nice, normal mum”. She had given birth to her second child in March.
