Teenager pleads guilty to rape of six-year-old boy

A 14-year-old raped a boy aged six and sexually abused a two-year-old, a court heard. The teenage boy pleaded guilty at Plymouth Crown Court yesterday to five offences between March and August.

Reports will now be prepared on the youth, from Plymouth, but his barrister admitted that custody was “ultimately inevitable”.

Michael Green, barrister for the youth, said he was at a specialist home for adolescent boys from difficult backgrounds who were a risk of causing sexual harm. He was released in the care of youth workers to return for sentence on Oct 20.
