New images of jogger accused of pushing woman in front of a bus

-

 Detectives hunting a jogger who allegedly pushed a woman in front of an oncoming bus have released fresh images of the suspect.

An investigation was launched in May after a 33-year-old woman was pushed into the road as she walked across Putney Bridge in London.

Footage of the incident appeared to show the jogger, who was described as a white man in his 30s with brown eyes and short brown hair, pushing the woman off the pavement and into the path of the No 430 bus. Fortunately the driver swerved and the woman escaped any serious injury.

About 15 minutes after the incident, the jogger came back the other way across the bridge, but when the victim tried to speak to him he did not acknowledge her and carried on jogging towards the north side of the river. Despite a widespread public appeal by Scotland Yard, the identity of the jogger remains a mystery and police have now issued new images in the hope of making a breakthrough.
