Pi­casso villa sold twice to same man

The Riviera villa above the bay of Cannes where Pi­casso spent his last years un­til his death in 1973, aged 91, was yes­ter­day sold for a sec­ond time – to the same man.

Rayo Withanage, based in Brunei, bought it four months ago but did not have the nec­es­sary funds, so it was put back up for auc­tion. He now has two months to come up with £18 mil­lion.
