Duterte’s threat to expel diplomats

The president of the Philippines yesterday threatened to expel European ambassadors within 24 hours, accusing their governments of plotting to have Manila expelled from the UN.

Rodrigo Duterte said in a speech that he would not tolerate European criticism of his drug war, which has seen police kill at least 3,850 people since he took office 15 months ago.
